The program draws from three kinds of knowing: empirically validated frameworks, time-tested wisdom traditions, and clearly identified intuitive elements, the intuitive always marked as such.

The eight movements

The journey, stage by stage

The journey comprises eight sequential movements, each with its own demand:

• The Threshold — cross from ordinary life into the journey, and set a resolve from the deepest self.
• Excavation — remember what you loved, what you buried, and the arc of your story.
• The Superpower — name your gifts, and accept the responsibility of using them.
• Nature & Type — understand your temperament and the layers of your being, through your own tradition.
• Meaning & the Why — confront suffering, duty, and what your life is for. The heaviest stage; the heaviest voices.
• The Map — imagine divergent futures without fear, and loosen the grip of the single fixed plan.
• The Action Hierarchy — turn clarity into movement, and close the gap between knowing and doing.
• The Companion — sustain the practice, return after falling off, and walk the path over time.

Movement 0

The Threshold

Cross from ordinary life into the journey, and set a resolve from the deepest self. This first movement is the transition out of the everyday and the establishing of a deep intention, from which the rest of the work proceeds.

Movement 1

Excavation

Remember what you loved, what you buried, and the arc of your story. This movement is the recovery of what you valued, what you suppressed, and your personal narrative — the raw material the rest of the journey works with.

Movement 2

The Superpower

Name your gifts, and accept the responsibility of using them. This movement identifies your gifts and asks you to accept the responsibility they entail; the gift and the duty are inseparable.

Movement 3

Nature & Type

Understand your temperament and the layers of your being, through your own tradition. This movement explores your temperament and inner layers from within the wisdom tradition that is already yours, rather than one imposed from outside.

Movement 4 · the heaviest stage

Meaning & the Why

Confront suffering, duty, and what your life is for. The heaviest stage; the heaviest voices. This movement faces meaning directly — suffering, duty, and life's purpose — and is described in the journey as the heaviest stage.

Movement 5

The Map

Imagine divergent futures without fear, and loosen the grip of the single fixed plan. This movement explores multiple possible futures without rigid planning, so that no one path can hold you hostage.

Movement 6

The Action Hierarchy

Turn clarity into movement, and close the gap between knowing and doing. This movement converts insight into a concrete hierarchy of action — the built half of a purpose that is half discovered and half built.

Movement 7

The Companion

Sustain the practice, return after falling off, and walk the path over time. The closing movement is a private companion that maintains the path, helps you recover from lapses, and walks with you afterward.
